    What The CRAP!?

Sox tank it to the Devil Dogs and go 4 games back in the AL East and are now only 4 games ahead in the wild card as well. All of the sudden Boston's certain post season begins to seem potentially uncertain. What a difference a day makes.
The story of the night was Pedro being upstaged by a high schooler, well in all fairness he is now twenty but never went to college. He started the season in single ball and turned some heads on September 14th.
He did himself proud," Tampa Bay manager Lou Piniella said. "Not only Fenway, but against a really good Red Sox team, against a legend out there in Pedro. It's impressive."
Pedro even gave the boy props in a way only Pedro could.
Hopefully, we won't have to face another rookie," said Martinez
Pedro who had seemed to turn the corner of late with his unpredictability was exactly that. He walked a season high 5 batters, and gave up two earned runs over 6. Mr Glass is half full what do you have to say about that?
It's a great outing," Boston manager Terry Francona said. "He gave up two homers, but nobody was on base."
And no one was on base for our team either, as Boston was nearly shut out except for Trot Nixon earning his salary for one at bat as he put 2 runs on the board with a HR in the 8th.
The Sox get to pull their head out of their asses with a turn around performance from Wakefield Wednesday night.
