    Lowe to Stand Up Tonight

Heading to the hill tonight for the Red Sox will be Derek Lowe, who will be trying to win his fourth consecutive decision. Lowe's latest win came on Friday against the Detroit Tigers, as he allowed three runs and seven hits in eight innings to run his record to 12-10 on the year, while lowering his earned run average to 5.22.

The 31-year-old righthander defeated the Angels earlier in the season and is 2-4 lifetime against them with a 3.11 ERA in 21 games, five of which have been starts.

Anaheim has split its eight matchups with the Red Sox this season, but has just four wins in its last 12 visits to Beantown.

Boston is 46-21 at home this season.
