    Highs with Lowe

Lowe pitched well enough to keep the Sox rolling and get the 4-3 win Thursday night. Lowe gave up 3 runs in 3 innings but settled down and received his 13 win of the season. Lowe was left in to face Super Bad Vlad Guerrero in the eighth inning and left the one run game in the hands of the bull pen after that.
Mentally, it was just a very tough game to get through," said Lowe. "It's just another big win for us."

With the win the Sox move their season high win streak to nine, 15 of their last 16, and a home streak of 10. More astonishingly the Red Sox have actually swept swept each of their last three series at home. The last time that happened was April 19-May 4, 1994.
I hope people start giving us credit because this is a very special run we're going on," said Derek. "We show up every single day knowing we're going to win."

Lowe is now 13-10 and the Sox have won the last 5 games he has started. Lowe's last lose was nearly a month ago on Aug 6th.
