    Late Night Time Line

      • 12:50 AM 8th inning, Sox trail 3-5, Cruz walks the bases loaded
        12:57 AM Sox score a run, to make the score 4-5, with out getting a hit.
      • 1:00 AM Ricon pulled by Ken Macha for Street to face Renteria.
      • 1:02 AM Bases still loaded, Renteria clears the bases with a triple scored a single. Sox take the lead 7-5 and Clement gets off the hook.
      • 1:04 AM Remy says "You don't see Manny take these kind of swings too often" referring to a half power wiffle ball swing Manny put across for a strike.
      • 1:05 AM Manny strikes out looking at a ball about 3 feet away from him.
      • 1:08 AM Embree still on the mound.
      • 1:11 AM Embree records a strike out for the first out of the inning.
      • 1:12 AM NESN satellite feed goes out.
      • 1:13 AM NESN satellite feed comes back; Embree leaves the mound with two outs, Francona by his side. and Timlin running in.
      • 1:15 AM I ask myself why Foulke isn't coming in for a 4 out save if he needs the work to be effective.
      • 1:16 AM Timlin gets Scutaro to pop out to end the inning.
      • 1:20 AM Foulke warms up, top of the ninth, and Millar walks, 11th Sox walk.
      • 1:24 AM Mueller fouls out for the second out.
      • 1:24 AM Remy wonders aloud how many people back home are still watching, as Payton flies out for the third out, then Foulke runs onto the infield.
      • 1:27 AM Foulke throws his first pitch to Byrnes for a strike.
      • 1:28 AM Byrnes strikes out.
      • 1:29 AM Kotsay flies out to Manny, two outs.
      • 1:31 AM Jason Kendall gets a two out single to bring the tying run to the plate.
      • 1:33 AM Chavez strikes out to end the 3 hour and 20 minute game. Foulke gets a save.
