    Schilling Wants The Ball

    Bad Ankle and All

Despite being widely speculated that Schilling would skip his next start, he will take the mound Tuesday night a 7pm. Clearly in need of rest why would Schilling pitch when his ankle problem persists? Two words Kyle Lohse, that and the game will be played at Fenway. Kyle Lohse has just two wins this season and a robust ERA 5.34 going up against Curt Schilling it appears to be a bit of a mis-match. Put another way, this is an easy for for the Sox and Schilling who have played great at Fenway.

"We're looking forward to getting back to Fenway. We've been playing well there. The road hasn't treated us very nicely this year. Getting back to Fenway is going to do us good." -- center fielder Johnny Damon
