    Schilling the Lead Pipe Lock

Schilling has proven to be the only reliable starting pitcher the Sox staff. Tonight he stakes his reputation on the line against some dude named Valdez who doesn't make coffee for a living. If Schilling does have a knock on him of late it is that he usually gives up a few inconsequential runs late in the game.

"I continue to be disappointed with the way I'm pitching after the sixth inning. But it's a win. It feels good," Schilling said.

This match up appears to be a miss match and Vegas agrees. A 10-dollar straight bet on the Padres with pay out over 30 dollars. So its official Schilling is out lead pipe lock of the week, which could only mean that he will lose the game and I will win 30 dollars.
