    As Advertised

The Lead Pipe Lock held true. Vegas stacked the odds very much so in Schilling's favor, and the house is never wrong. "Juan" Valdez didn't stand a chance, The Schill was automatic and only wavered when he always does in the sixth inning. What matters is that it was a win, and more importantly a win for the series. The bad news is that the Yanks have kept pace and the Sox are still 3.5 games out.

"Unbelievable, like he always does," Sox DH David Ortiz said of Schilling. "Whenever he comes out and he doesn't do that, everybody would be surprised because that's what he does every time he comes out."
