Pedro Nomo, Nomo Pedro, Pedro Nomo...

    Welcome Back Everybody
Pedro started his career with the Dodgers, Nomo started his career with the Dodgers, Nomo played for the Red Sox, Pedro plays for the Red Sox, Nomo left the Sox to return to LA, Pedro has said he might leave the Sox and might play for LA again. Now that thats out of the way the important stuff is, like Pedro and the weather. I am beginning to wonder if Pedro thinks ALIGNAK the Native American weather god is directing his career. It is the middle of June and every start recently he has talked about the weather and god. This time:
"The way the weather is going right now and the way I'm feeling the last three outings, I don't see why not," he said when asked if he would be able to keep up the momentum.

Pedro and the Sox are the heavy favorite for this game and rightfully so. Pedro is coming off of his best game of this season...
"It was fun," Martinez said after beating the Padres. "That was a team that had a lot of strangers there, and I didn't know what to expect. But it was fun to actually give the fans what they expect."

Martinez, who struck out eight, walked one and hit a batter, had a 94 mile-per-hour fastball and command of the curveball that he said had been off against the Angels.

while Nomo has lost 5 straight. Will Nomo turn it around? Will Pedro continue to pray to Alignak? The game is ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game of the week (8pm).
