The New Yankee Stadium Blows
Although the field dimensions of the new stadium are exactly that of the old stadium, the shell of the new stadium is shaped differently. AccuWeather.com meteorologists also estimate that the angle of the seating tiers in the new stadium could have a different effect on wind motion across the field.

The Pedroia Chronicles
Dustin Pedroia:
Born 08/17/1983 in Woodland California.
A part of the 2007 World Series Champion Red Sox.

Dustin's 29 year old older brother Brett Pedroia is arrested on charges of sex with a minor.
Brett Pedroia, 29, turned himself in to Woodland police on Jan. 9. According to an arrest report, he's suspected of oral copulation and lewd acts with a child under 14. Brett Pedroia was booked and later released on $50,000 bail. He was working in his family's tire store Saturday, but he said he had no comment. The Pedroia family is well-known and liked in Woodland.--via The Sporting News
Brett pleads not guilty.

Kenneth Samuels allegedly calls the Pedroia family tire business in Woodland California and makes a death threat towards a member of the Pedroia Family. Kenneth Samuels is arrested.

Pedroia acknowledges he's angry with the town for something he won't specify, though it's safe to assume it involves his older brother Brett's arrest, in January, on child-molestation charges. (Brett has pleaded not guilty.) "Everyone wants to get out of there," he goes on. "You don't want to stay in Woodland. What do you want to stay in Woodland for? The place sucks. The newspaper there, I don't really get along with. I come from your town. You should embrace me. I play for the Boston Red Sox. You haven't had a lot of major-leaguers come out of your city."
