    The Manny Interview on NESN

    Thanks but No Thanks
The Manny Ramirez interview during the NESN Red Sox game broadcast Wednesday night was priceless and had several gems (Manny now being a preacher for one). Manny decided to sing the praises of his former "friend" and teammate by comparing him to one of the greats and one of the most vilified players to play the game. Manny compared David Ortiz to Barry Bonds twice during the interview. Siting how locked in Ortiz can be at times making pitchers pay for anything in the strike zone.   Barry Bonds was amazing but comparing your friend to the poster boy of steroids  is probably not the best idea.

    Manny has Changed

In recent days David Ortiz has praised Manny Ramirez and claims he is a changed man. Big Papi is right Manny is a changed man. Check out his new hair style below. Is that a "Kid n Play" hair cut?

    Stay on Traget

The 2014 Red Sox are exactly as bad as the 2012 Red Sox were after 40 games.

    Wally Wave

What is the best thing about the Red Sox being on the road?
    There is no Wally Wave.

    IT IS NO LONGER EARLY

It would take a blind, deaf, and dumb Red Sox fan to think the 2014 largely unchanged Red Sox team has any resemblance to the 2013 Red Sox team. The 2014 team is lacking the intangibles that made the 2013 team world champions. Does this team have the same feeling and final destination as the chicken and beer 2012 Red Sox? 'No of course not' you say well the chances of the 2014 Red Sox having a path to the end of the season that resembles the dysfunctional 2012 Red Sox may be closer than you think.
After a quick look at this graphic it is hard to tell which Red Sox team is the 2012 or the 2014 team and that is my point. It is early days no more.

    Just Say No

There are reports that the Red Sox may be interested in failed potential closer Joel Hanrahan who is clearly the worst Red Sox potential closer since Eric Gagne. Both these pitchers are awful probably because they share the same awful facial hair and have no business pitching in the AL East.
