Schilling is Welcomed Back With a Loss

The fast ball pitcher was on the DL for seven weeks with a case of the missing fastball.

    ESPN "no hitter" Jinx!

ESPN broke into their regularly scheduled programing Thursday afternoon to show Curt Schilling enter the 9th inning with out giving up a hit. ESPN was rebroadcasting NESN's coverage and didn't have their commentators speaking during the broadcast, but they did have their own graphics up at the top of the screen showing that the game was live and courtesy NESN. After two outs were registered in the 9th inning an ESPN producer throws up on the screen a huge banner graphic in the middle of the screen reading "SHILLING GOING FOR NO HITTER" the very instant Schilling goes into his wind up to deliver a hit.
