    Robbed

If Pedro Martinez didn't win the AL MVP in 1999 then no pitcher should ever win the MVP. In 2011 Ellsbury hit .321, 32 homers, stole 39 bases, and 105 RBI far eclipsing Pedroia's 2008 MVP season. This robbery didn't go unnoticed by Pedroia.
It kind of stinks."-- Dustin Pedroia on MVP-Gate

Big Changes for Jacoby Ellsbury in 2010

ELLSBURY DROPS HIS NUMBER AND MOVES

Before entering his third full major league season the Sox and Jacoby Ellsbury have decided to fix what wasn't broken. According the redsox.com' s depth chart Ellsbury has moved to left field and Mike Cameron is the starting center fielder. Also after two pretty good years of wearing the uniform number 46 Ellsbury has decided (or is now allowed) to wear the number 2. The number became available after bench coach Brad Mills left to manage the Houston Astros for the 2010 season.

Other Sox greats to wear #2....
Jerry Remy, Carl Everett, and of course Schilling. Chuck Schilling that is the Red Sox second baseman for the early sixties.

ELLSBURY NOT GOING TO HALL OF FAME BUT BACK TO PAWTUCKET

Thursday night Jacoby and Myers Ellsbury was sent back down to Pawtucket; but why? He was so fast, so speedy, and he got off to such a hot and quick start at the plate (6-16). I felt it was certain that he was going to be the fastest player to enter the Hall of Fame ever in the quickest amount of time. Terry Francona how could you do this to such a talent?

The best thing I can do is caution the people who are
ready to put him in the Hall of Fame... He's not on the way to Cooperstown yet."-- Terry Francona

So you are saying there's a chance?

I'd be very surprised if you see Jacoby Ellsbury be a part-time
    player in Boston..."

So you are saying he is taking Coco Crap's job? Good to know Tito, time to drop the Crap off my fantasy team.
