    The Gamer

With the entire weight of the Red Sox nation resting on his shoulders, Curt Schilling delivered as advertised as he escorted the local nine to a game 1 ALDS victory. Hit did give up nine hits and two earned runs but he managed his game like a post season pro. With the bases juiced never losing his cool and induced ground outs. He went 6.2 innings but left with the game with the game in hand (8-2). If needed he will pitch Sunday's game five, but most likely the next time we will see the ace will be to open up the ALCS against what should only be the Yankees.
