Tim Wakefield takes on Jon Lieber and the Red Sox defense Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium.

"This team is resilient," Kevin Millar said. "You shower, you think of what you could have done better and you come back tomorrow."

Hopefully Francona won't be too resilient with you playing first much longer Millar.

"Our character is in good shape here. We plan to come out here and win [Wednesday] night," said Damon. "[Tuesday] was an off night for us. But we're ready to strap it on again and try to get a win."
