Coming to a Stadium Near You
The Red Sox fall on their face in New York as the league leaders in errors show off what they do best. Garciaparra managed 2 and some how Kevin Millar only received one error Friday night as the Sox got rogered by the Yankees in the Bronx 11-3.
"Against any team, when you give extra outs, you can get burned," manager Terry Francona said. "Against the Yankees, you can't do that. You've got to play good games and clean baseball to beat them. We didn't do that, and they took advantage of every mistake we made."

The only highlight of the game was a lead off home run by Johnny Damon in the first and then another solo shot by Damon in the third. But the novelty of that wore off quicky even for Damon who had 4 homers all season going into the game.
