Going into the weekend series the New York Yankees were riding high with a 11% chance of making it to the playoffs. After the 4 game series loss the Yankees now have a 7% chance of making it to the one game Wild Card playoff game.

Early August marked the near death of the Yankees making the playoffs. Since then the Yankees have made a comeback and are not totally out of the wildcard picture. How will their chances look after this weekend series with the Red Sox?
