Merloni Remains Absent From the NESN Booth

As Don Orsillo goes through fill in color analysts faster than Dice-K can complain in Japanese there has been one glaring absence in the NESN broadcast booth. Lou Merloni; he would be perfect for the fill in analyst. Come on if Gordon Edes and Dave Roberts continue to get invited back the bar for qualifications is clearly not that high. Perhaps Lou and Eck could do a tag team for more balanced color commentating?
