    Small Jack

    theo In what amounts to nothing short of a highly coordinated and scheduled pregnancy Theo Epstein and his wife Marie Whitney gave birth yesterday, Wednesday December 12 2007, to their first child Jack Epstein. Theo was also born in December on the 29th and will be 34 years old this month.

    Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz answers a question during a news conference in Santo Domingo, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. Ortiz said Tuesday that he is recuperating well from a recent knee operation and hopes to be training by early next year.
