Wells Gets Gift Win

David Wells, here is your first win of the season. Friday Night against the Devil Dogs, Wells was given an eight run lead by the third inning. If Wells can not convert this into a win he needs to retire prior to the ninth inning. He can thank his first Red Sox win in part to David Ortiz's grandslam in the third inning, or in part to Hideo Nomo for some how sucking more than Wells. Nomo walked 5, gave up 5 hits, and earned 8 runs along the way.
