    Red Sock

A blood stain is visible on the sock on Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling's right foot as he pitched against the St. Louis Cardinals in the first inning of Game 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park in Boston on October 24, 2004. The Red Sox team doctor put stitches in Schilling's ankle to hold a dislocated tendon in place.
