Each year there is one thing that is the iconic off field memory. When you talk about the team with your co-workers chances are that this is part of every conversation. Last year it was the whole "Cowboy Up" thing. Thank god this year that wasn't supplemented with "Yeeh Yeah", or "Idiots". However, when it is all said and done the one thing that you take away from the 2004 season as an everlasting memory (assuming they don't win it all) may be the Sox latest rally cry.
