The Bellhorn Basher
Mark Bellhorn officially atoned for all of his strike outs of late with a huge 3 run homer in the fourth inning. Coming into the game Bellhorn had stuck out 14 times in a mere 11 games of post season play. He had managed just 4 hits on 0 RBI, to say he was slumping is an insult to every batter who ever slumped. He was 100% dead weight in the line up. All forgotten as he put the Sox in a position to win game 6 and make baseball history.
"It's pretty big for me. It's my first time being involved in something like this. You try a little bit harder sometimes, and the team mates you know they just keep pumping me up, build my confidence for me to do something like this it is pretty good for me."- Mark BellhornSounds like an understatment.
