Goodbye to more Weekend Day Games

The first two months of the baseball season are cold. When it is cold outside in the spring what time of day makes most sense to go outside for three or four hours? At 1pm when the sun is up or at 8pm when it is usually 20 degrees colder? According to ESPN, MLB, and the Red Sox two of the four home Sunday day games in April and May will be held at 8pm Sunday night instead. Of course this decision is being made for TV purposes but it is Sunday night. When Game of Thrones launches in April on Sunday night what would you rather watch? Game of Thrones or a Game of Sox versus Tigers. This blows, but it could be argued that this decision is out of the Red Sox hands; what is not out of the Red Sox hands is the game the day after the home opener. On Saturday April 5th (if it is not snowing outside) the Red Sox have decided to play their game at 7:10pm! What? This is a crime against baseball humanity.
