The scene: The tenth inning, game tied at two, home team up, two runners on, Ortiz up, Ramirez on deck. You intentionally walk the one time Twins cast off, and pitch to the perennial all star Manny Ramirez. That was weird enough. Then factor in the A's only playing two outfielders with five infielders. Manny slumping, bases loaded, Keiichi Yabu's freshly added to the mound, pitch one foul, ball, game over. Yabu-Ya hits Ramirez, Red Sox win 3-2.
