    Thank You Everyone

    Theo Epstein says goodbye to Red Sox nation with a full page ad in the Boston Globe. The text of the letter reads like an Alanis Morissette song. He writes all the expected sentiments as he says "thank you" seven times in the farewell letter. He ends the letter as all true Red Sox fans end their correspondence with a simple, "Go Sox!"; and for that Theo I say thank you.

    Ortiz Hits Reverse

    7 days after telling an ESPN reporter that he would consider playing for the Yankees in 2012 David Ortiz starts to backpedal like a professional.
    I never said I would sign with the Yankees. No, no, no. They asked me if I would play with the Yankees. I said I would think about it. I didn’t say I would go to the Yankees. I’m still with the Red Sox, aren’t I?--David Ortiz 10/20/11’’

    9 days after he gave up two doubles to end the Red Sox 2011 season, Jonathan Papelbon revels on the streets of the French Quarter in New Orleans. It is important for closers to have a short memory and Paps is proving why he is one of the best closers in the game.
